Gerald Drought’s practice is devoted primarily to complex litigation. He has been lead counsel in many cases that resulted in sizeable verdicts or settlements against some of the largest and best-known companies in America. In addition Mr. Drought has defended multimillion-dollar cases for a variety of business clients and enjoys the distinction of never having lost a defense verdict.
Gerald Drought has been practicing business and general litigation in San Antonio and South Texas for over thirty years. He is the President of the Firm, Head of the Litigation Section and Board Certified in Civil Trial Law, Texas Board of Legal Specialization. Martindale-Hubbell has given Mr. Drought its highest rating (AV) since 1980. Mr. Drought is the fourth generation of his family to practice law in San Antonio. He has tried 2 jury trials to verdict this year ( as of May 1, 2014) and handles a very active docket along with his team of lawyers and Paralegals.
