Paul J. Benavides

Paul Benavides is a Partner in the transactional practice group. He advises clients on commercial real estate matters. This includes representing banks in regards to conventional construction and permanent financing, as well as financing involving private activity bonds, Freddie Mac Tax Exempt loans and low income housing tax credits. He also advises clients on acquisition, disposition, development and leasing.
His practice also includes advising clients on oil and gas matters involving leasing, acquisition, disposition, financing, joint operations, easements and surface use.
While in law school, Paul served as a judicial intern for the Honorable Chief Justice Nathan L. Hecht of the Supreme Court of Texas, and as a judicial intern for the Honorable Rebecca Simmons of the Fourth Court of Appeals.
